Tami has been in education for over 17 years.  She began her career in education as a substitute teacher for LAUSD.  After her time as a substitute teacher, she spent 15 years as a History teacher at Palisades Charter High School.  She moved from the classroom to school leadership as 1 member of the 9 person administrative team at PCHS an Assistant Principal/Director of Admissions and Attendance.  This role in school leadership showed her the impact that she could have on a larger student population, and also taught her the power of being student centered.

She earned her B.A. in Liberal Arts, M.S in Education and Teaching Credential from Mt. St. Mary’s University. Being a lifelong learner she continued her education at Grand Canyon University earning a degree as an Educational Specialist in K-12 Leadership, as well as, an Administrative Credential from Azusa Pacific University.

As she joins the Da Vinci family, she is thrilled to share what she has learned but is more thrilled to learn more. As a mother of a teenage son she brings the experience of parenting the child you have— in the world of education, that means she deals with each student as an individual, honoring each student. Tami enjoys cooking, spending time with family and close friends, and hiking!
