Marc Pioch
Da Vinci Connect HS & DVX Program Coordinator
Marc Pioch serves as Program Coordinator at Da Vinci Connect High School and at Da Vinci Extension.
Marc brings 23 years of teaching experience. Marc has taught a multitude of social science courses including World History, US History AP, Government AP, Economics, Geography and Contemporary Issues. In addition, he was in charge of the student council and coached both volleyball and basketball at North High School in Torrance. For 18 years, he helped develop and run the ExxonMobil Youth Development program, a summer job training program for high school students. Marc also spent two years as a professor at USC’s Rossier School of Education teaching social studies methods in the master’s program. Marc worked for Teacher Created Materials (TCM), a publishing company in Huntington Beach. At TCM Marc traveled the country providing professional development on a variety of topics. In his time at TCM Marc also worked as an author and editor where he was a contributing author to Teaching Social Studies Today. In his free time Marc enjoys spending time with his two boys, Tyler and Brody, traveling and practicing yoga.
