Meika Nwaomah, the Science Coach and Culture Lead , is bubbling over with excitement to work with all the wonderful scholars attending Portal Schools. She was born in  Kansas City, Missouri where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology as well as a Bachelor of Art in Music. She graduated from the University of Southern California with a Master of Art in Teaching. It is her overall goal to instill the value of service and innovation for all her scholars as they create a dynamic village of learners. In her spare time, she enjoys dancing, singing, and teaching music to all ages. Meika is looking forward to sparking joy in the lives of her students as they explore Science and the role it plays in the real world around them.
