Rita Bouchard is a Los Angeles native. She received her BS. in Geology from Cal State Dominguez Hills and was a field geologist for Tyco International for several years before transitioning to teaching. She earned her teaching credential from Cal State University, Los Angeles Charter School of Education and her Masters of Arts in Education with an emphasis in Leadership and Change at Antioch University. She appreciates that she can incorporate her passions into her projects, so DV Connect is a natural fit for her.

In her free time, she can be found spending time with her family, traveling, experimenting, spending time in the wilderness, listening to music, cooking, or learning something new. She lives in Hawthorne with her husband Gary and their daughter, Marcelle.
