El Segundo, CA
Dani Stephan Guerrero teaches World History at Da Vinci Communications. She is a HUGE history nerd. Born and raised in the Inland Empire, Dani double majored at Azusa Pacific University and received her B.A. in History and English (Literature Concentration). She then attended California State University Fullerton, earning her M.A. in history. In 2014, Dani joined Teach For America as a corps member in San Diego and worked as the social science teacher for grades six through eight at a small Title 1 public charter. Upon moving to Los Angeles in 2016, Dani worked as the Director of Volunteer Programs at Heritage Museum of Orange County in Los Angeles, where she coordinated volunteer efforts and taught cultural and natural history in a hands-on learning environment to students K-12. Dani is passionate about social justice and teaching students to think critically about the world around them. When she isn’t teaching, Dani enjoys spending time with her husband, Chris, and her cat, Abelard. She really loves naps, really cute animal videos, and spending time in nature. She also enjoys art, photography, singing, and writing in her spare time.
