Aaron Tostado
Da Vinci Science Engineering & Computer Integrated Manufacturing
As a native of Southern California, Aaron Tostado can’t help but root for the Dodgers and Lakers. However, his hobbies are not limited to sports. Aaron has many interests, ranging from surfing to crafting, making him a true Renaissance man. By day, Aaron is an engineering teacher. He teaches two Project Lead The Way courses to juniors and seniors: Engineering Design & Development and Computer Integrated Manufacturing. He also teaches robotics and is the founding teacher/mentor for the Da Vinci Science robotics team, Team 4201, the Vitruvian Bots, which has received many accolades. Aaron is the recipient of the 2015 Raytheon Math Hero Award and the DiscoverE Educator Award runner up. He received a B.S. in Math Education, as well as a California Single Subject Teaching Credential, from Cal State University of Long Beach. Aaron believes that true education happens in the community and is excited to be part of the dynamic learning community that is Da Vinci Science.
